For all things are for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God ~2 Corinthians 4:15

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

I’m sure most of you are stuffed by now, or about to get stuffed! But in all the festivities and preparing for family time celebrations, don’t miss the main reason why you are celebrating…

It’s a day of reflection and thankfulness, therefore I urge you to look back on your year so far. So many things happened to the majority of us. We planned for things that didn’t fall into place because life occasionally throws us curves we’re not ready for. However, although we may have had some hard times this year,  let’s not forget those happy, easy going seasons. And don’t forget to give thanks to God, who deserves it far more than we can imagine.

We need to remember the mere fact that it’s not by our authority that we are alive today. Whether we choose to believe it or not, our life rests in the hands of the One who created us. So if there’s nothing you can think to be thankful for,  have a thankful heart for your life.

But most importantly, always have a heart of thanks. It’s important to live everyday thankful and not save it for one day, because then we live a genuine life of gratitude without forcing it. “As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.” – John F. Kennedy

So once again, I wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving! Have a wonderful time with your family, friends, and loved ones! Gooble, Gooble!
